Originally another University project, this was designed alongside my CD storage.
This packaging provides a cheap and easy way of backing up and protecting their music. By burning a new CD, constructing their own custom album with their own graphics and text, they are also able to bring their music collection into the "real world".
The packaging can be made from either thin corrugated card, which also offers ample protection for postage, or plain cardboard. The kit comes complete with a recordable CD, labels for the packaging and disc, and the flat-pack net. This is easily constructed with double-sided tape.
Due to the options available, both for material of construction and decoration, the scope for this case is more varied than many others. It is also suitable for mailing CDs out for personal and business use, as well as archiving data.
