Solar Lighting

This solar lighting project was completed as a response to people's habits regarding energy use. Although they use electric lighting every day, users take it for granted.

This is due to two reasons. Firstly, the fact that the home lighting circuit is permanently wired into the home gives it a "hidden" feel. Secondly, the energy is always there to use on demand, 24-7.

The idea behind this project was to provide a usable lighting system, which used a renewable source of energy, and was noticeable enough to help change people's habits.
